  London Luton Airport

London Luton Airport is one of the UK's fastest growing airports with passenger numbers up 400% in the past 10 years.

In 1995 London Luton Airport helped pioneer an entirely new concept in Europe - 'low cost' or 'no frills' flying - by becoming the first UK base for easyJet. Some of the largest European low cost airlines now operate form London Luton alongside many other key scheduled and charter carriers.

London Luton is 35 miles (56 kms) north-west of London, located close to the M1 and M25 motorways.

Rail

Luton Airport Parkway is close to the airport and there is a free regular shuttle bus service between the rail station and the terminal.

Thameslink operate regular services to King's Cross Thameslink, Farringdon, London City Thameslink, London Bridge and Blackfrairs stations.  There are up to eight train each hour with journey times from 30 minutes.

Midland Mainline operates a regular service from St Pancras.  Journey times from 23 minutes.

By Coach

Green Line 757 operate three coach per hour to London Victoria Coach Station via Brent Cross,  Baker Street and Marble Arch.  average journey time is 75 minutes.

By Bus

easyBus operates an express minibus service to/from Central London (Baker Street), 7 days a week, from as little as £2.00 one way.

By Taxi

The average price from central London to Luton by a black cab is £70-£80.  There are usually cabs queuing for customers at the airport. Find out from the driver how much your journey will cost beforehand.

By Car

London Luton is 35 miles (56 kms) north-west of London, located close to the M1 and M25.  London Luton Airport is only 30 minutes from North London, 15 minutes from the M25 and 5 minutes from the M1.

The airport is just two miles from the M1 motorway.  Exit the M1 at Junction 10. The route to the airport is clearly signposted.
