Gatwick Express
The easiest way to get to Gatwick from central London is by the Gatwick Express.  The Gatwick Express offers a frequent direct service from London Victoria British Rail station direct to Gatwick south terminal.  The service takes 30 minutes and during peak times trains depart every 15 minutes.  For more information and tickets go online or telephone +44 (0)845 850 15 30

National Rail
Gatwick is also connected to the UK rail network.  Thameslink offer frequent services from King's Cross, Blackfrairs and London Bridge.  Travelling time from London Bridge takes an average of 40 minutes.

Southern trains operate a 24 hour service from London Victoria to Gatwick.  During the day trains run every 15 minutes with an average journey time of 45 minutes.

National Express run frequent services between Gatwick and London Victoria Coach station.  From there you can connect to over 1100 destinations across the UK.  Coaches run approximately every hour with a journey time of one and a half hours.

By Taxi

The average price from central London to Gatwick by a black cab is £70.  There are usually cabs queuing for customers at the airport. Find out from the driver how much your journey will cost beforehand.

By Car

London Gatwick is 28 miles (45 kms) south of London, directly linked to the M23 motorway at junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road. Just a 10 minute drive away, the M25 further connects with the UK's extensive road and motorway network.
