Not only is XXL
the biggest bear club in the world, it's also the UK's biggest weekly
men-only club.
The motto of XXL is 'one club fits all'. It has a huge variety of men
but lots of bears, cubs, chubs and chasers.
There is an incredible 20,000 square feet in the venue, spread out
over four arches, including two bars and two dancefloors, as well as a
garden area. One dancefloor plays funky commercial house anthems and
the other plays harder tribal sounds.
XXL is noted for it's no-attitude atmosphere and friendly clientele as
well as being a meeting point for bears and cubs from around the UK
and the globe.
