The Tube
The tube is probably the simplest, quickest and most convenient way to
travel around London. It operates across ??? lines serving much
of London and runs from the early morning until late night.

London Buses
Wherever you want to go in London you can usually find a bus
that will take you there.
London buses operate a 24
hour service with a range of night buses.

Docklands Light
Railway (DLR)
The DLR is a light railway system connecting east London with the
City. It always extends into south east London.
Four routes currently operate on the DLR. They are
Stratford to Lewisham, Bank to Lewisham, Tower gateway to
Beckton and Tower Gateway to Lewisham.

Trams
Trams were reintroduced to London in May 2000 providing an
environmentally friendly transport link in South London.
Trams serve the centre of Croydon and are divided into three
lines to provide a service from Wimbledon to
Elmers End, Croydon to Beckenham Junction and Croydon
to New Addington.

Taxi - Private Hire
Travelling
in a traditional taxi is a unique, convenient and easy method of
getting from place to place and, more importantly, from 'door to door'
throughout London.
Taxis can be hailed in the street or located on designated ranks,
which are situated at prominent places, including many mainline rail,
underground and bus stations.
