Biography...
Paul's first
TV appearance was in Children's Ward when he was 10 - he had
three
lines!
After an 18-month stint on TV drama EastEnders, which won
him critical plaudits, Paul ventured into the film world and
seems destined for great things.
He has been hailed by none other than Joan Collins as
Britain's answer to Leonardo DiCaprio. Paul has been
acclaimed for his role in WWI drama, The Trench (1999) and
for his sexy romping in the period comedy, A Clandestine
Marriage (1999). Most recently Paul has been in BBC
drama 'A Thing Called Love'.
Twelve record companies have reportedly offered Paul the
opportunity to record a single but they have all been turned
down. Paul has publicly stated that he will never record a
single, adding that his cat, Gizmo, is better at singing
than him.
* Paul choose the surname Nicholls when he joined the Actors
Union - 'because it sounded
good'.
