Bruno Langley was the first gay character to appear on Coronation Street.  played the character of Todd Grimshaw in Coronation Street.  Engaged to Sarah Platt he had a drunken kiss with her brother Nick.  Struggling with his sexuality he then embarked on a gay affair with nurse Karl Foster.  When that came out all hell broke loose between the two familes.



After leaving Coronation Street, he has gone on to play other roles, such as the part of Adam Mitchell in the 2005 series of Doctor Who.  He also filmed a small role in the film The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse, released in June 2005.
