Biography...
Ben
played his first game for Northampton Saints when he
was 17 and has now played well over 100 games for them. He
says can’t imagine playing for any other club! He
says he is proud to play for England and reckons its his
greatest achievement in life so far.
He says his most memorable moment was winning the European
Cup with Northampton in 2000, his first try for England in
the same year, all of the Autumn Internationals in 2002 and
the World Cup success in Australia last in 2003.

His uncle, George Cohen, was a member of the 1966 World Cup
winning England squad and was a great inspiration for him as
a sportsman – and still is.
When not playing rugby or training you’ll find him riding
his motorbike, playing snooker or looking after his horses.
He has several motorbikes, including an American touring
bike and had he not become a professional player, Ben is
convinced he would have been a fireman or policeman.
