lies six miles to the south east of Central London and
stretches from the River Thames in the north to leafy
Bromley in the south. Its population of around 249,000
reside in both densely populated urban areas – Deptford,
Catford and Lewisham itself – and contrasting residential,
suburban towns such as Sydenham and Hither Green.
